    Goals / Remit

    The European Advertising Standards Alliance (EASA) is the single authoritative voice on advertising self-regulation issues and promotes high ethical standards in commercial communications by means of effective self-regulation. As a non-profit organisation based in Brussels, it brings together national advertising self-regulatory organisations (SROs) and organisations representing the advertising industry in Europe and beyond.

Active contributor to EC and EBMS work on the AVMSD and its implementation. Involved in discussions on the New Deal for Consumers, and in discussions on the Digital Services Act implementation. Providing feedback to policymakers on the scope of the Regulation on Political Advertising. Actively involved in discussions around gender stereotyping in advertising, alcohol advertising, advertising for products high in fat, sugar and salt (HFSS). Frontrunner on rules on influencer marketing and communicating about EASA' Influencer Marketing Standards Training and other EASA tools for responsible influencers. Involved in discussions and common projects with the CPC network coordinated by DG Just.
