Goals / Remit
Der MVFP ist der Verband der deutschen Zeitschriftenverlage. Seine ca. 350 Mitglieder, zumeist mittlere oder kleinere Unternehmen, repräsentieren nach Reichweite und Umsatz ca. 90% des Marktes deutscher Zeitschriftenmedien, der insgesamt ca. 7000 Zeitschriftentitel in gedruckter Form und digitalen Varianten umfasst. Die Mitglieder des MVFP unterteilen sich in Publikums- und Fachmedien, sowie konfessioneller Presse.
Der MVFP vertritt die publizistischen, kulturellen und wirtschaftlichen Interessen der Zeitschriftenverlage mit dem Ziel:
- für alle Belange einer freiheitlichen Presse einzutreten
- die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit der Verlage in den Medienmärkten zu stärken
- die politischen und rechtlichen Rahmenbedingungen den Anforderungen der Verlage entsprechend mitzugestalten
- Marktstandards zu definieren und Dienstleistungen für Mitgliedsverlage zu erbringen
- eine zeitgemäße journalistische und medienkaufmännische Aus- und Fortbildung zu fördern.Main EU files targeted
