USIPA has worked with the EU and Member States for the past several years to promote the benefits of using biomass (specifically wood pellets) as a viable renewable energy source that is readily available and can be used to help Europe meet its climate change goals and greenhouse gas emission reduction targets.
USIPA also promotes the sustainability of wood pellets from the US and works to showcase the US biomass and forest industries, providing information to key European policy makers on the realities of these industries and markets, as well as information on sustainability and environmental regulations followed in the US.- Meetings
