Drax Group plc is a renewable energy company engaged in renewable power generation, the production of sustainable biomass and the sale of renewable electricity to businesses. Drax operates a generation portfolio of sustainable biomass, hydro-electric and pumped hydro storage assets across four sites in England and Scotland. Drax also operates a global bioenergy supply business for our own use and customers in Asia and Europe. Drax Group currently employs around 3,200 people.
We are focused on enabling a zero carbon, lower-cost energy future. We have an ambitious roadmap ahead to deploy our innovative Bioenergy with Carbon Capture and Storage (BECCS) technology internationally.
We recently launched a dedicated independently operated company, Elimini, headquartered in Houston, Texas, that will be focused on becoming the global leader in delivering high integrity carbon removals.Main EU files targeted
