    Goals / Remit

    The Sports Rights Owners Coalition (“SROC”) is a forum of around 50 international and national sports bodies and competition organisers with a particular focus on rights issues.

    The income generated by selling rights makes possible the reinvestement into grassroots.

    SROC's aims are:
    •to enable dialogue and sharing of best practices on key legal, political and regulatory issue
    •to raise awareness of new developments and innovation in sports rights
    •to take joint action to protect and promote its members' rights

    SROC seeks proper recognition of the value of sport from Governments across the world, and effective protection for their rights under law.

    Main EU files targeted

    SROC follows all legislative work, consultation processes and events / conferences linked to IPR, audio-visual policy and betting/gambling.
