Complementary Information
PREPARE has 20 organisations and two associates structure having 10 000 member organisations or affiliated local groups and over 100,000 individual members. Each member organisation has its own board, typically between 5 and 15 persons. All boards are dealing with European rural and regional development policy, which means that there are approximately 100 persons involved indirectly in the scope of the Transparency Register.
PREPARE had low activity in 2021 (and later 2022) as we did not manage to get involved in projects. We had no employed person in 2021, nor 2022 and no office costs. Mainly member fees and banking costs. We have a board of 8-9 people, mostly doing voluntary work, like newsletters, updating website, looking for project opportunities and participating in EU consultative bodies. We are now involved in two Horizon projects (worth around 250000€ for a period of 4 years. For 2023, an approximate working effort is 4-5 months depending on project implementation.Person in charge of EU relations
