Goals / Remit
The Association is founded with the purpose of acting for the common good through the promotion and protection of human rights of users of healthcare services - patients, ie for the purpose of achieving the following goals:
• preventing discrimination against patients on any basis;
• informing the public about the patients' rights and how they are used in our country and in the world;
• providing assistance to citizens in the exercise of their rights as patients;
• collecting individual observations about the poorly defined relationships between those who provide, those who provide, those who provide, and those who seek health care;
• adopting proposals for legal presumptions that would determine patients' rights, in accordance with the positive regulations of the Republic of Croatia.

Description
• develops and implements the work program of the Association in accordance with the goals of the Association;
• organizes suitable seminars, lectures, classes, courses, workshops, consultations, and public forums;
• issues a newsletter of the Association in accordance with the law;
• publishes and assists the publication of publications related to the topic of patients' rights in accordance with separate regulations as well as professional publications;
• may establish a company or other legal entity for the purpose of pursuing activities that achieve the objectives set out in the Statute;
• cooperates with all associations in the country and abroad that support the work of the Association;
• cooperates with domestic and foreign professional associations, Ministries, the Government, embassies, universities, and courts.
• provides expert advice in the fields of law, sociology, medicine, ethics, and psychology
• provides legal assistance within the scope of its activities, in accordance with special regulations
• organizes and provides psychological and psychotherapy support according to special regulations
• participates in the mobility of European and other foreign projects, education, and lifelong learning, and according to special regulations
• informs the public about health policy and current events
• conducts anti-corruption activities
• conducts humanitarian activities for the purpose of health protection, disease prevention under special regulations
• issues findings and opinions from its scope of work on an event at the request of a patient or institution under special regulations

Communication activities
The work of the Association is public.
The public work is realized by giving information on the work of the Association in the press and all interested media, and the members of the Association are informed in a timely manner. For the fullest possible realization of the publicity of the work, the Association will publish its newsletter in accordance with the regulations on public information and have its own website on which to report on its work and current activities.
For the purpose of achieving the goals from the previous article, the Association performs the following activities:
