    Represent the interest of European border and cross-border regions towards EU institutions, national governments and other entitites. Identify their problems, opportunities, tasks and projects in particular. Initiate,support and coordinate their cooperation in the whole Europe. Exchange experiences and information to identify and coordinate common interests on the basis of various problems and opportunities of border regions, and offer solutions. Promote Cross-Border Cooperation (CBC) structures, projects and programmes. Support in the preparation of CBC events and other activities.

    Last General Assembly, Annual Conference, II Cross-Border School and a Workshop on the ESPON Project "CB Public Services" in Oulu (Bothnian Arc, Finland), 19-22 September 2018.
    Next General Assembly and Annual Conference, plus III CB School in Dresden (Euroregion Elbe/Labe, Germany) from 23 to 26 October 2019.
    Main projects currently implemented: IVY (Interreg Volunteer Youth), March 2017 - December 2019; B-Solutions (identifying CB legal and administrative obstacles and testing posible solutions); several in the Balkans with young people; various with sub-national authorities in Latin American cross-border areas, namely Ecuador-Colombia, Perú-Ecuador, Bolivia-Perú, Colombia-Perú-Brazil and the borders of Mexico with Guatemala and with the US; exploration activities in Jerusalem.
