    Goals / Remit

Wolt is Helsinki-based technology company that provides an online platform to connect people looking to order restaurant food, groceries, and a wide variety of retail categories with people in their communities interested in selling and delivering them. We call this local commerce.

Our service brings convenience to customers, but also creates economic opportunities for local restaurants and retailers selling their goods over our platform and for independent couriers providing services to Wolt.

We currently operate in 28 countries (18 of which are EU Member States) and over 1000 cities, serving goods from over 150,000 merchants with over 250,000 courier partners to more than 40 million registered users, and employ more than 12,000 people in our offices across our markets.

    Main EU files targeted

Public policy engagement (e.g. meetings, consultation responses, position papers, event participation) with European Commission and European Parliament representatives on policies and legislative initiatives impacting technology platforms in areas such as competition, employment, internal market, platform regulation, digital services, payments, consumers, privacy, and taxation.

    Meetings

    14 meetings found. Download meetings

The list below only covers meetings held since November 2014 with commissioners, their cabinet members or directors-general at the European Commission; other lobby meetings with lower-level staff may have taken place, but the European Commission doesn't proactively publish information about these meetings. For more information about which commissioner is responsible for which portfolio, check out this link: https://commissioners.ec.europa.eu/index_en All information below comes from European Commission web pages.

1 July 2024: We have noted that some meetings are appearing in duplicate, ie. some meetings seem to be listed twice. This seems to be because the Commission changes some element of a meeting data after the meeting has first been listed, which causes LobbyFacts to register it as a new meeting. We are investigating further.
