Goals / Remit
Electrolux is a European based global household appliance manufacturer. In 2018 our global sales amounted to 124 billion SEK, we had 54.000 employees and sales of more than 60 million appliances. In Europe, Electrolux has 16 factories and around 22.000 employees. We produce washing machines, dish washers, tumble driers, vacuum cleaners, refrigerators and freezers, and cooking equipment. Legislation and product requirements influence our activity to a great extent. The activities related to EU decision making are performed by the Environmental & European Affairs Department located in Brussels and in Stockholm. The department monitors development of EU legislation that can have an impact on our products and operations. If legislation has an impact on our products and operations we will seek to explain to decision makers what the impact is and how legislation can be improved if necessary.
Main EU files targeted

The list below only covers meetings held since November 2014 with commissioners, their cabinet members or directors-general at the European Commission; other lobby meetings with lower-level staff may have taken place, but the European Commission doesn't proactively publish information about these meetings. For more information about which commissioner is responsible for which portfolio, check out this link: https://commissioners.ec.europa.eu/index_en All information below comes from European Commission web pages.
1 July 2024: We have noted that some meetings are appearing in duplicate, ie. some meetings seem to be listed twice. This seems to be because the Commission changes some element of a meeting data after the meeting has first been listed, which causes LobbyFacts to register it as a new meeting. We are investigating further.
