Goals / Remit
Save the Children Europe carries out advocacy and donor relations on behalf of 13 European Save the Children organisations. Like other Save the Children organisations, its members work with and for children in their own countries and abroad. The principle of children's rights lies at the heart of Save the Children Europe, which aims to help further children's rights in Europe and elsewhere by promoting children's interests in European policy making, funding and programmes.
Save the Children is the world's largest independent organisation for children. We employ approximately 25,000 people across the globe and work on the ground in over 100 countries to help children affected by crises, or those that need better healthcare, education and protection. We also campaign and advocate at the highest levels to realise children’s rights and ensure their voices are heard.Main EU files targeted

The list below only covers meetings held since November 2014 with commissioners, their cabinet members or directors-general at the European Commission; other lobby meetings with lower-level staff may have taken place, but the European Commission doesn't proactively publish information about these meetings. For more information about which commissioner is responsible for which portfolio, check out this link: https://commissioners.ec.europa.eu/index_en All information below comes from European Commission web pages.
1 July 2024: We have noted that some meetings are appearing in duplicate, ie. some meetings seem to be listed twice. This seems to be because the Commission changes some element of a meeting data after the meeting has first been listed, which causes LobbyFacts to register it as a new meeting. We are investigating further.
