Goals / Remit
The Fresenius Global Union Alliance was formed strengthen global solidarity, to advance the opportunities for all Fresenius workers to gain representation by a union of their choosing and to assist each other in the effort to protect and raise standards for Fresenius workers.
The Alliance further wants the company to respect its social, environmental, and ethical obligations including refraining from tax avoidance and aggressive tax planning and legislative and regulatory manipulations. Additionally we don’t countenance any illegal behaviour and expect full protection for whistleblowers. It is important to Fresenius workers to work for a company that is leading by exemplary behaviour in all subsidiaries, in all countries.
informs about the machinations of the German medical group Fresenius.
The Alliance believes that the best way to accomplish these goals is through a Global Framework Agreement between Fresenius and the Global Union Federations.Main EU files targeted
Sustainable Corporate Governance, European Employment Policy, Services policy, improving labour conditions, due diligence, more generally any EU legislation or policy-making with an impact of our workers
