France Télévisions est le premier groupe audiovisuel français. Service public de l’audiovisuel, le groupe possède à cet égard un rôle dans la vie sociale et culturelle qui lui impose une ambition et une exigence constante dans la définition de son offre de programmes. Suite à la loi du 5 mars 2009, France Télévisions a vu la transformation de son statut en une entreprise commune regroupant toutes les chaînes du groupe.
Aujourd’hui, la société holding France Télévisions S.A. constitue un ensemble aux activités diversifiées et complémentaires qui comprend :
- 5 chaînes nationales métropolitaines (France 2, France 3, France 4, France 5 et France Ô, accessible en France métropolitaine et en Outre-mer) ainsi qu’un réseau ultramarin : le Réseau Outre mer 1ère.
- Plusieurs filiales de production (MFP, France 2 Cinéma et France 3 Cinéma), de communication (France Télévisions Publicité) et une filiale spécialisée dans la gestion de droits dérivés, France Télévisions Distribution.
- Une fondation d’entreprise, chargée de porter au sein de la société civile les initiatives du groupe contribuant à l’action culturelle.
- Le groupe est également l’actionnaire de référence de 5 chaînes thématiques (Ma Planète, Planète Thalassa, Gulli, Mezzo et Euronews) et participe au capital de 4 sociétés relevant d’engagements internationaux de la France (France 24, CFI, TV5 Monde, ARTE).Main EU files targeted
