Goals / Remit
EFSI is the representative body for national federations and companies that are involved in the development of personal and household services in Europe. Its role is to represent the industry and promote the development of the sector across Europe.
EFSI brings national federations and associations as well as private companies together. Through its members, EFSI is present in 22 EU members states.Main EU files targeted
-Implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights and related initiatives

-European Commission's initiatives related to work-life balance.

Communication activities
During the year 2018, EFSI has been actively involved in the dissemination of the results of the IMPact project, especially at national level.
It also launched a reflection on statistics on the PHS sector following which, a report entitled "PHS Industry Monitor - Statistical overview of the personal and household services sector in the European Union" has been published in April.
Finally, EFSI published several documents related to work-life balance, migrant domestic and care workers, working conditions in the PHS sector and VAT reduced rates.Other activities
