Goals / Remit
The European Chemical Employers Group (ECEG) is a Brussels-based social affairs organisation of the European chemical industry and a recognised European social partner in the Sectoral Social Dialogue Committee. ECEG represents employers' interests in the chemical, pharmaceuticals, rubber and plastics industries.
Main EU files targeted
- competitiveness, RDI (research, development and innovation) and management of change, with particular attention for the impact on the industry of digitalisation and of sector-specific policies such as REACH and those related to nanotechnology,
- active involvement in shaping the new European Pillar of Social Rights,
- occupational health and safety,
