EUTC is the largest professional association for telecommunications specialists working
within utility and energy companies. It brings industry experts together from across Europe,
enabling them to share knowledge and stay up-to-date in this rapidly changing field. EUTC also works in partnership with EU institutions, which seek its opinions on important issues such as spectrum allocation and development of the future energy grid. Members of the

EUTC has virtually no activities performed by staff to influence policies. Most of the activities of the organisation focus on education (annual conference / workshops/working groups). A monitoring of EU policies is also performed, for information. Because EUTC answers also sometimes consultations, a minimal cost has been registered, but actual participation in these consultations is achieved by volunteers.
