Audible Magic is a US-based technology company with offices in the United Kingdom. It has been a pioneer in automated content recognition using its proprietary digital audio fingerprinting technology, for which it currently holds over 30 US and European patents. Audible Magic aims to commercialize this technology by providing automated content recognition technology to the technology and media sectors, for purposes such as the prevention of copyright infringement, synchronization and interactivity with mobile devices, and broadcasting services such as subscriber authentication and dynamic ad insertion.
