Goals / Remit
The objects of the association are,
• to bring together the National Associations/Organisations and direct member companies of the industries concerned and to develop between them a spirit of European solidarity
• to promote and to defend their common interests in relation to the authorities and the institutions of the EU and other European stakeholders
• to direct all the negotiations of these industries with the EU and relevant international Organisations, particularly in the agricultural and food industries sector in Europe
• to facilitate the free circulation of CAOBISCO sector products in Europe and to co-operate in the elaboration of common regulations. For this purpose the association will collect and disseminate information as necessary to achieve its objectives, in compliance with competition and anti-trust laws.
• to defend the common interests of CAOBISCO sector industries in the face of all unfair competition and vis-a-vis the authorities and institutions of the European Union.Main EU files targeted
