    Goals / Remit

    Der Bundesverband Digitalpublisher und Zeitungsverleger (BDZV) vertritt als Spitzenorganisation die Interessen der Zeitungsverlage und digitalen Publisher in Deutschland und auf EU-Ebene. Im BDZV sind 318 Medienmarken mit rund 2800 digitalen journalistischen Angeboten organisiert. Gegründet wurde der Verband 1954 als Bundesverband Deutscher Zeitungsverleger. Zu seinen Aufgaben gehören insbesondere:

    Die Wahrung der Unabhängigkeit der deutschen Zeitungen und Digitalpublisher.
    Die Wahrung und Förderung des Ansehens der Zeitungsverlage und Digitalpublisher in der Öffentlichkeit und deren Vertretung gegenüber Bundesregierung, Bundestag, Behörden und Organisationen.
    Die Förderung der Ausbildung des Nachwuchses in den Mitgliedsunternehmen.
    Die Führung von Verhandlungen in sozialrechtlichen Angelegenheiten und der Abschluss von Tarifverträgen.

    Der BDZV hat die Rechtsform eines eingetragenen Vereins (e.V.), Organe sind der Vorstand und die Delegiertenversammlung.
