    Goals / Remit

    To promote the welfare and relieve the suffering of working equines and other animals in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and South and Central America, and in any other areas outside the United Kingdom that the Trustees may think fit, for the public benefit, in particular, but not exclusively, by:
    • the support, promotion and provision of veterinary and other animal healthcare services whether in the context of veterinary clinics, animal hospitals, other animal healthcare facilities or otherwise;
    • the provision, promotion and support of education in the care, welfare and treatment of working equines;
    • advocacy for long term and sustainable improvement of the living and working conditions of working equines;
    • and to relieve the poverty of owners and users of working animals and their communities by improving the health and welfare of such animals.
