    Goals / Remit

    Our vision
Attero strives to use its activities to make a significant contribution to a greener and more sustainable society and to solving our clients’ waste issues by maximising the potential of waste. Not just by recovering secondary raw materials, but by generating sustainable energy in the form of heat, electricity and green gas. That is how we prevent the depletion of primary raw materials and natural resources and how we can halt climate change.

    Our mission
Attero is market leader in the Netherlands when it comes to processing a range of waste flows efficiently and sustainably. We consider it to be our task to unburden clients with one-stop solutions and to support them with achieving their ambitions in the area of reusing raw materials and using sustainable energy. Therefore we choose solutions with an optimum balance between environmental gains and justifiable costs. In this way, we aim to create social and financial value for all our stakeholders

    Our strategy
Our objectives are to supply added value and customised solutions for our stakeholders in the area of reusing raw materials, waste management and generating and supplying sustainable energy. Attero supports the national policy, which strives to reduce the use of primary raw materials by 50% in 2030. We also consider it to be our task to make a maximum contribution to achieving the use of at least 14% renewable energy in the Netherlands by 2020. Within Attero we work constantly on improving our operating processes, operational activities and a safe and comfortable work environment for our employees, outside firms, suppliers and clients.
