Goals / Remit
SEAP was established in 1997 to represent all those individuals active in European affairs to encourage the highest standards of professionalism for European affairs activity and promote self regulation of the profession. SEAP now has over 300 individual members, each of whom are signatories to the SEAP Code of Conduct.
Main EU files targeted
With respect to European affairs professionals:
- to be the trust mark of the profession by setting and promoting standards of ethical conduct;
- to provide networking on issues of common interest.
With respect to the EU institutions:
- to represent the interests of the profession to the EU institutions;
- to be recognized as an essential partner by the EU institutions.
With respect to the public:
- to improve the understanding of the role of European affairs professionals in the policy process.Address

1 July 2024: We have noted that some meetings are appearing in duplicate, ie. some meetings seem to be listed twice. This seems to be because the Commission changes some element of a meeting data after the meeting has first been listed, which causes LobbyFacts to register it as a new meeting. We are investigating further.
