Goals / Remit
(1) L’objet désintéressé de l'Association est uniquement de :
• promouvoir les intérêts généraux, non-matériaux et économiques au service des fabricants de fils de bobinage aux niveaux européen et international ;
• favoriser la coopération avec les autorités européennes et autres entités, afin de représenter et promouvoir les intérêts de ses membres ;
• chercher à établir un dialogue, plus particulièrement aux niveaux européen et international, avec des professionnels et des organisations économiques dont les membres ne font pas partie de l’Association ;
• préserver une concurrence libre et loyale.
(2) À cette fin, l’Association a le droit d’exercer, seule ou en collaboration avec des tiers, directement ou indirectement, toutes les activités directement ou indirectement liées à cet objet.

Over the years, different activities have been of interest, are relevant at the moment or will be of importance to our industry sector in the future. Therefore, only examples shall be mentioned from past, present and future, which are: IED. BREF-processes, ReaCh/RoHS, Green Deal, Circular Economy, Energy Efficiency.

European Winding Wire Association is an AISBL under Belgium law, set up on January 4th 2020, date of the royal decree .
It is written in ist articles of association that the first fiscal year will last from the date of the autorization of the royal decree to December 31 2021 , so 2 civil years.
The accounts for this first fiscal year 21-22 will be presented to the next General Assembly , on May 13 2022 for approval.
The second ,and the following fiscal years will be the civil year from Jan 1st to Dec 31st
therefore it is consistent to say that EWWA is a newly formed entity even if we had activities in 2020 -
