Goals / Remit
Design of a prototype for a thorium-fuelled molten salt reactor. Output 10 megawatts and transportable. Purpose is to present a source of carbon-neutral energy with a view to mitigating climate change and averting energy poverty in developing countries. Applications include ships propulsion, liquid fuel synthesis, desalination and space applications.
