    Goals / Remit

    Der EAC vereint nationale Automobilclubs und Interessensgemeinschaften.
    Insgesamt vertritt er die Anliegen von rund 3 Millionen Menschen. Als Partner für Mobilität lautet die Vision: Europa grenzenlos er-fahrbar zu machen. Dafür gilt es, verkehrsrechtliche Bestimmungen zwischen den EU-Staaten zu harmonisieren und zukunftsweisende Technologien voranzutreiben – für mehr Sicherheit und Nachhaltigkeit im Straßenverkehr.
    Der EAC ist Unterzeichner der Europäischen Charta für Verkehrssicherheit. Der EAC macht sich stark für mehr Klarheit im EU-Verkehrsrecht und erarbeitet tragfähige Lösungen für die Herausforderungen des Verkehrswachstums – zur Förderung der Mobilität in Europa. Der EAC steht für nachhaltige Verkehrskonzepte, die alle Verkehrsteilnehmer mit einbeziehen.
