    Instant Delivery Platform Coalition

    EU Transparency Register

    115647141109-23 First registered on 27 Jan 2021

    Goals / Remit

The coalition brings together restaurant and instant delivery platforms to increase awareness of the unique benefits that they bring to Europe’s consumers, merchants, and courier partners. The platforms will work together, through research, joint position papers and events as well as dialogue with the European institutions and national governments to find solutions to common policy challenges. Bolt, Deliveroo, Delivery Hero, Glovo, Stuart, Uber Eats, and Wolt are the founding members. Other members are welcome to join.

The Coalition supports policy initiatives which favour the sustainable development of the platform economy in Europe and the development of a fair and inclusive platform work environment.

    Main EU files targeted

Our aim is to assert a distinctive voice for the sector in European policy debates. We will promote the sector's unique role in helping merchants reach new customers through delivery platforms. The coalition will also be a leading voice on the public debate on platform work and promote the benefits of flexible and independent platform-enabled work that can be easily accessed.

    The coalition will focus on:
Fostering a fair and inclusive ecosystem for platform workers
    Platform-to-business relationships
    EU Digital Single Market harmonization
