Goals / Remit

Die Daimler Group ist ein Unternehmen der Automobilindustrie, seit November 2019 mit einer neuen Unternehmens-struktur. Die Ausgliederung des Geschäfts mit Pkw, Vans sowie Lkw und Bussen in die Tochtergesellschaften ist Ende Oktober durch Eintragung in das deutsche Handelsregister wirksam geworden. Unter dem Dach der Daimler AG operieren drei rechtlich selbstständige Aktiengesellschaften: Die Mercedes-Benz AG verantwortet das Geschäft mit PKW und Vans. In der Daimler Truck AG sind alle Aktivitäten von Daimler Trucks & Buses gebündelt. Die Daimler Mobility AG bietet neben Fahrzeug-finanzierungen und dem Flottenmanagement auch Mobilitätsdienstleistungen an. Die Daimler AG ist börsennotiert. Daimler ist weltweit in nahezu allen Märkten präsent und unterhält Produktionsstätten in Europa, Nord- und Südamerika, Asien und Afrika. Im Jahr 2020 setzten wir mit insgesamt rund 288.500 Mitarbeitern 2,8 Mio. Fahrzeuge ab. Der Umsatz lag bei € 154,3 Mrd., das EBIT betrug € 6,6 Mrd.
