    --> GAIA-X is influencing broadly on EUCS (European Cybersecurity Certification Scheme for Cloud Services), Data Act, and Data and Cloud Strategy.

    --> Through the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO), contribution to the cybersecurity R&D roadmap of the EU & the advancement of the European digital autonomy; and support the protection of the European Digital Single Market with trusted cybersecurity solutions. Reinitiation in 2023 of its policy taskforces to influence cybersecurity related policies/legislations.

    --> Through European Alliance for Industrial Data Cloud & Edge, influence on future European projects on industrial cloud, industrial data (through different task forces: cyber, architecture, Green Decarbonization and sovereignty) and contribution to the European Technology roadmap of future cloud edge. The goal is to establish recommendations to help the European Commission to build on an autonomous sovereign cloud; and support the initiatives from notably DG Connect (European Commission).

    --> Contribution through the FIWARE Foundation to Data Spaces and European Standards

    --> Through European Green Digital Coalition (EGDC), released of a first version of the Net Carbon Impact Assessment Methodology for ICT Solutions. Together with WWF we released a whitepaper to accelerate and encourage decarbonization using digital in the Maritime Shipping sector.

    --> Participation to HIPEAC Conference in 2023 (forum for experts in computer architecture, programming models, compilers, and operating systems for general purpose, embedded and cyber-physical systems). HIPEAC is a key element of the European Commission’s Advanced Computing Policy.

    --> Through International Labour Organisation (ILO) and Valuable 500: contribution to webinars and white papers regarding disability topics, participating to “AccessibleEU” which is one of the flagship initiatives proposed by the European Commission Strategy for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities 2021-2030.
