    Goals / Remit

    YOUTHPROAKTIV is an organization aiming at creating a generation of proactive individuals ready to invest their talents for the BETTERMENT OF SOCIETY by starting their own business and CREATING JOBS for themselves and others.

    YouthProAktiv is a coalition of young people working in the fields of youth, youth work, and non-formal learning to promote proactivity, personal and professional development, entrepreneurship, youth employment and active civic participation in social, economic, and political level among young people at local, national and international level through a sustainable and inclusive perspective.

    YouthProAktiv represents 57 national organizations from 24 different EU & neighboring countries at the international level in the EU Institutions and the United Nations.

    As part of our work and mission at this point we are closely impacting the legislative work conducted in 1 Committees:

    In the CULT Committee:
    1. Implementation of the European Solidarity Corps program 2021-2027 (2023/2018(INI)),
    2. Implementation of the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values program 2021-2027 – citizens' engagement and participation 2023/2004(INI),
    3. Implementation of the Erasmus+ program 2021-2027 (2023/2002(INI))
    4. Establishing the European Disability Card and the European Parking Card for persons with disabilities (2023/0311(COD))
    5. Reducing inequalities and promoting social inclusion in times of crisis for children and their families (2023/2066(INI).

    PUBLIC CONFERENCES AND EVENTS:

    Monthly Life- Talk on instagram with Members of the European Parliament on the Youth Goals and other EU policies.

    DECLARATIONS AND POLICY WORK:

    1. With the support of different members of the CULT Committee, we are working on four main European youth Declarations:
    a) the way to increase youth democratic participation and
    b) a closest youth collaboration with the European Parliament

    2. Support EC in the promotion and youth engagement on the "Manifesto by & for young people to shape European Cooperation Policy" and the implementation of EU macro-regional policies.

    EU PUBLIC CONSULTATIONS:

    YouthProAktiv is actively open to participation in different public consultations in the sector of Youth, Education and Training, Digital Economy and Society, Culture and Media and Business and Industry.

    COMMUNICATION:

    We actively contribute to the participation and international communication and dissemination of European Initiatives such as the European Media Literacy Week, Start-Up Europe Week, European LifeLong Learning Week, European Maker Week, EU Code Week and the European Vocational Skills Week.
