Goals / Remit
WISE campaigns for a 100% renewable energy system: a clean, safe and just energy provision for now and later, for everybody.
The transition to a world without fossil and nuclear energy is technically, financially and practically feasible. This currently happens at a snakes space, because there are large interests in the ways in which energy is generated and by the way in which the current energy sector is organised. This is a struggle of interests. WISE participates in that struggle.
WISE, founded in 1978, is rooted in the global grassroot movements against nuclear power. Already for more than 40 years, we campaign against nuclear energy and for green energy, so that we do not exhaust the planet further, but use it in a way that future generations can still enjoy it. Together with groups and individuals, we challenge the current energy system and promote solutions that add to the energy revolution.Main EU files targeted
