De Vlaamse Hogescholenraad is het officieel overleg- en adviesorgaan van de hogescholen.
De VLHORA adviseert de Vlaamse overheid over alle beleidsaspecten inzake het hogeschoolonderwijs, het projectmatig wetenschappelijk onderzoek, de maatschappelijke dienstverlening en de beoefening van de kunsten.
