EUMICON (European Mineral Resources Confederation) versteht sich als Schnittpunkt der europäischen Rohstoffbranche hinsichtlich Wirtschaft, Politik und Wissenschaft. Der Verband wurde als Wissens- und Informationsplattform der Mineralrohstoffwirtschaft ins Leben gerufen. Im Fokus stehen dabei die Gewinnung, Aufbereitung und das Recycling mineralischer Rohstoffe. Neben fundierter Meinungs- und Bewusstseinsbildung u.a. mittels Informationsveranstaltungen, Ausstellungen und Publikationen werden konkrete Lösungsansätze erarbeitet und der Austausch von Wissen forciert.
