Goals / Remit
Der VÖP vertritt die fachlichen Interessen der privaten Rundfunkveranstalter in Österreich und unterstützt seine Mitglieder durch individuelle Beratung und Information.
Der Verband repräsentiert alle wesentlichen, am österreichischen Markt tätigen privaten Rundfunkunternehmen und ist:
- Partner der Politik und Interessenvertreter der Privatsender in Österreich
- Ansprechpartner für die Regulierungsbehörde und andere relevante Behörden und Ministerien
- Vertreter und Mitglied im Österreichischen Werberat ÖWR, in der Association of European Radios AER, in der International Advertising Association IAA, in der Österreichischen Public Affairs Vereinigung ÖPAV und im Jugendmedienschutzverein JMS
- Kooperationspartner für andere Verbände (z.B. WKO, VÖZ, VAUNET, ACT...)Main EU files targeted
