    Goals / Remit

Utilitas is an Estonian energy group, the principal activities of which include generating thermal energy and electricity and providing district heating services. Utilitas group comprises district heating companies AS Utilitas Tallinn and AS Utilitas Eesti, as well as OÜ Utilitas Tallinna Elektrijaam, which produces heat and electricity and OÜ Utilitas Wind develops renewable electricity and storage solution projects in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. We provide solutions which are suitable for our customers and the environment, generate and distribute energy as efficiently as possible, and use renewable and local energy sources in the maximum possible extent. More than a half of the thermal energy sold is generated from local and renewable fuels. In the past few years, we have been investing in increasing the share of local and renewable fuels. Today, all district heating networks of Utilitas are efficient – all networks located outside of Tallinn use local wood chips as basic fuel.

The list below only covers meetings held since November 2014 with commissioners, their cabinet members or directors-general at the European Commission; other lobby meetings with lower-level staff may have taken place, but the European Commission doesn't proactively publish information about these meetings. For more information about which commissioner is responsible for which portfolio, check out this link: https://commissioners.ec.europa.eu/index_en All information below comes from European Commission web pages.

1 July 2024: We have noted that some meetings are appearing in duplicate, ie. some meetings seem to be listed twice. This seems to be because the Commission changes some element of a meeting data after the meeting has first been listed, which causes LobbyFacts to register it as a new meeting. We are investigating further.
