UG consists of several companies offering Pay TV, Internet and telephony distribution. The group also includes a company which manages and makes media content.

    I am the only person in the Group which has to follow and act upon various irregularities in the area or regulation and laws as well as various Government decisions impacting our business. I cover all countries and all the issues related to the regulations and laws.

    I am supported by the in house lawyers when we need to comment on the draft laws, when we challenge certain government, court or regulatory decisions etc.

We are eager to point out the discrepancies in the draft laws and legislation which may be contrary to the European rules or practices. This is why we try to follow the developments in the EU countries, relevant cases or decisions in order to follow EU practices as closely as possible as we believe that we can protect the level playing field in, for example, competition and other areas.
