EU-FUNDED PROJECTS:
Enhancing Business Support Organisations and Business Networks in the Southern Neighbourhood - EBSOMED, is a project co-financed by the European Union and coordinated by BUSINESSMED (Union of Mediterranean Confederations of Enterprises) as part of a consortium of six partners.
The ultimate goal of this 4-year project (2018-2022) is to promote the Mediterranean Business Ecosystem by boosting investment and job creation in the region with a view to economic growth. This will be done through the strengthening of the capacity building of Business Support Organisations (BSOs) in the Southern Neighbourhood Countries.
SOLiD-South Mediterranean Social Dialogue is a three years programme (2016-2019), with a €3.750 million budget, 80% of which is financed by the European Union and 20% by the International Trade Union Confederation. It is coordinated by a consortium which consists of 9 members: ATUC (Arab Trade Union Confederation), BusinessMed (Union of Mediterranean Confederation of Enterprises), ANND (Arab NGO Network for Development), ISCOS (Italian Union Institute for Cooperation and Development), Progetto SUD, AIP (Portugal Industry Association), SOLIDAR, CNT Belgium (National Labor Council) and CES Morocco (Economic and Social Council).

The project will also support young and women entrepreneurs, MSMEs/start-ups/new enterprises to launch new projects/ventures in creative and cultural industries (CCI) via setting up the INVESTMED CCI venture support hub;
CREACT4MED (DG NEAR)
The overall objective of CREACT4MED is to enhance the role of culture as a vector for employment and resilience in Southern Neighbourhood Countries (SNCs) 9 through untapping the potential of the cultural and creative industry (CCI) to create economic value, enhance economic growth, create decent jobs and foster social inclusion, with a particular emphasis on youths and women and, thus, contributing towards strengthening economic, social and cultural resilience.

The list below only covers meetings held since November 2014 with commissioners, their cabinet members or directors-general at the European Commission; other lobby meetings with lower-level staff may have taken place, but the European Commission doesn't proactively publish information about these meetings. For more information about which commissioner is responsible for which portfolio, check out this link: https://commissioners.ec.europa.eu/index_en All information below comes from European Commission web pages.
1 July 2024: We have noted that some meetings are appearing in duplicate, ie. some meetings seem to be listed twice. This seems to be because the Commission changes some element of a meeting data after the meeting has first been listed, which causes LobbyFacts to register it as a new meeting. We are investigating further.
