The parent organization is United States Steel Corporation - a major steel producer based in the United States. It is one of the largest private employers in Slovakia. With the annual raw steel production capability of 4.5 million metric tons, USSK with its subsidiaries serves several steel-consuming sectors including service centers and the construction, automotive, transportation, packaging, further processing and home appliance industries.
