Goals / Remit
TuK Indonesia has the purposes of promoting respect, protection and fulfilment of human rights and social justice by State and non-state actors in the fields of policies, programmes and activities of agribusiness and natural resources management.
Main EU files targeted
TuK Indonesia advocates the develpment of regulation on Sustainable Finance, both on a national, but also on an international level. As such, we follow with interest the work that is being executed by the High Level Expert Group on Sustainable Finance.

In 2016, TuK Indonesia did not carry out any activities covered by the EU Transparency Register.
The register does not allow to register less than 0,25% FTE eq regarding work on activities covered by it. However, we expect to spend no more than 1 day of work, for 1 person, per year on this. -

Communication activities
TuK Indonesia is currently not involved in any activities covered by the register. However, we would like to provide input to the interim report of the HLEG on Sustainable Finance, as part of our advocacy work for stricter regulations on Sustainable Finance.
Many European Financial Institutions investment in Indonesia, sometimes in companies that cause significant social and environmental impacts. However, many of these FIs have no offices here, and therefore their regulation is a task of the EU.Other activities
