Goals / Remit
The Green Tank is an independent, non-profit think tank, which aims to present well-documented proposals and to advance policy solutions for a sustainable future. Our work relates to the three pillars of sustainable development: environment – economy – society, with emphasis on: a) climate change mitigation and adaptation, b) biodiversity conservation and restoration, c) just transition, and d) sustainable development. Aiming at contributing to the protection of the environment, tackling climate change and the advancement of sustainable development, we: a) monitor and research scientific, political and legal developments and build our work on facts and data analysis; b) formulate well-documented recommendations and develop alternative options. c) participate in public consultations; d) foster interaction and collaboration with key actors and organizations; e) strengthen the public debate.
