    Kaidi’s goal is to enable world-class bioenergy production in Finland. The company plans to build a biodiesel refinery in Kemi, northern Finland that will produce 2nd generation advanced biofuels, biodiesel and biogasoline. Sunshine Kaidi New Energy Group, one of China’s largest biorefining actors and the owner of Kaidi Finland, began the preparation of the Kemi biorefinery project in 2014. Kaidi Finland and its headquarters are located in Helsinki, Finland.

    Kaidi Finland was established by a Finnish innovation consulting company Spinverse in co-operation with Sunshine Kaidi New Energy Group in 2014. Sunshine Kaidi is a Chinese company focusing in renewable energy production, energy products and environmental technology.

    Sunshine Kaidi was established in 1992 and it currently has 24 biomass power plants in operation in China and Vietnam. Kaidi has an asset value of over EUR 7 billion and approximately 8,000 employees. The group’s holding company is privately owned and individual subsidiaries are publicly listed in the Shenzhen stock exchange. Kaidi’s headquarters are located in Wuhan, Hubei, China.
