Goals / Remit
Association for Legal Intervention (SIP) was established in 2005 by a group of young activists and lawyers. Since then SIP evolved into an experienced non-profit organization with the aim of combating social exclusion through provision of free legal advice to people whose rights and freedoms are threatened or violated and raising legal and civil awareness in the society.
We focus mailny on protecting and advancing rights of migrants and refugees.Main EU files targeted
Initiatives in the field of migration, asylum law and fundamental rights.
We are currently focusing on proposed amendments in the Common European Asylum System, including the proposed amendments of the Return Directive.
We are trying to influence proposed legislation so that it respects fundamental rights and the standards of the protection of human rights established by European Court of Human Rights and other international bodies.
We are advocating for changes in the distribution of AMIF funding and the inclusion of NGOs in shaping the New Pact on Migration and Asylum.Address
