Communication activities
Skogforsk focus strongly on communicating knowledge in a way that is efficient, quality-assured, needs-driven and customised to the target group.
The primary objective is to communicate new and established knowledge, to increase expertise and improve the efficiency of application of research results in Swedish forestry. Skogforsk will also communicate knowledge about forest and forestry with the society. The primary target group is professionals in forestry, where a high level of decentralization assumes that relevant knowledge is available, both for specialists and those far out in organizations, such as work supervisors, contractors and individual forest owners. Not until then can new technology and new methods be applied quickly and successfully.
By actively disseminating knowledge, Skogforsk will continue to be one of the most important sources of knowledge in forestry. This will necessitate rapid adaptation to new forms of communication and changed conditions for the primary target groups. Our communication is based on objective science based on scientific publications when applicable and development and innovations based on scientific fundamentals.Other activities
