Goals / Remit
Slovenian Coalition for Public Health, Environment and Tobacco control (SCTC) is a non-governmental organization, founded in 2003. The aims of the organization are reducing tobacco and alcohol consumption as well as tobacco prevention and cessation on a national level, reducing health inequalities among children, youth and vulnerable groups (especially the Roma community), prevention of chronic non-communicable diseases and promoting a healthy lifestyle and general well-being. The organization works in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and National Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Slovenia, among others.
