Communication activities
Each year we are organizing a CEO dinner for Consumer Goods companies in The Netherlands. Next year on April 2 2025, we want to discuss the topic of sustainability (profit and prupose) and invite Mr Hoekstra to share his views and listen to the views of Dutch CEOs. Typical CEOs to attend are from Albert Heijn, Unilever, FrieslandCampina, CocaCola, Royal Flora Holland, Auping.
We will focus on the multitude of challenges that CEOs face in balancing profit and purpose. These challenges often revolve around integrating ESG topics into the revenue model. How do you deal with these topics towards employees, customers and other stakeholders, without losing sight of your profitability? What is the role of the government?
We want to facilitate the open dialogue with Mr Hoekstra and Dutch CEOs on this important topic.
The agenda for April 2 is (depending on Mr Hoekstra's participation):
18:00 Arrival in restaurant Showw
18:30 Start round table discussion in five parts
1. Introduction by Simon-Kucher on challenges that CEO's face in balancing profit & purpose when dealing with ESG topics
2. Perspectives of Retail (CEO Albert Heijn, Marit van Egmond)
3. Perspectives of Manufacturers (CEO Cosun, Hans Meeuwis and CEO Jan-Joost Bosman, CEO Auping)
4. Perspectives of Government (Mr. Hoekstra, e.g. how he looks at corporate responsibility when it comes to ESG/Sustainability)
5. Closure Simon-Kucher
