Goals / Remit
RTE, le Gestionnaire du Réseau de Transport (GRT) d’électricité français, exploite, maintient et développe le réseau à haute et très haute tension sur l’ensemble du territoire métropolitain continental. Notre mission fondamentale est de garantir le bon fonctionnement et la sûreté du système électrique et d’assurer une alimentation électrique économique, sûre et propre aux consommateurs français et européens. Nous exploitons pour cela plus de 105 817 km de lignes comprises entre 63 000 et 400 000 volts et 56 liaisons transfrontalières connectent le réseau français à trente-trois pays européens, offrant ainsi des opportunités d’échanges d’électricité essentiels pour l’optimisation économique du système électrique. RTE a réalisé un chiffre d'affaires de 4 926 millions d'euros en 2022 et emploie plus de 9 500 salariés.
