KNVB is the national federation of football clubs. We safeguard the interests of our members, both professional and amateur football players, the grassroots clubs and professional clubs. We facilitate thousands of competitive matches every weekend by organizing leagues, training referees, directors and trainers. We develop football as a concept for everyone. Our societal projects that support this goal are aimed at (not exclusively) making connection (crossing borders) through football, developing women's football, football for elderly, for handicapped players and for youth. We also employ initiatives on healthy behavior, integrity, fair play, technological innovations, sustainable accomodations.

The EU Grant was provided as part of the EU Sports, Call 2020, Grassroots sport programmes and infrastructure innovation (SGRS) to the FOOTLAB programme:

FOOTLAB contributes to an increase in sports participation and strengthens clubs by enabling them to attract new target groups and engage with existing and unsatisfied members (primarily focusing on youngsters). FOOTLAB provides a
blueprint for other sports and countries.

By developing a digital infrastructure and football formats, FOOTLAB simplifies and improves the organisation of football
activities, makes them more accessible and easy to distribute, and boosts individual and team engagement. FOOTLAB
strengthens clubs through new memberships and sustainable revenue streams.

The first part (total €452.000) of of the granted amount (€271.200 has been received) the remaining amount has yet to be received upon the endreporting of the programme.

The list below only covers meetings held since November 2014 with commissioners, their cabinet members or directors-general at the European Commission; other lobby meetings with lower-level staff may have taken place, but the European Commission doesn't proactively publish information about these meetings. For more information about which commissioner is responsible for which portfolio, check out this link: https://commissioners.ec.europa.eu/index_en All information below comes from European Commission web pages.

1 July 2024: We have noted that some meetings are appearing in duplicate, ie. some meetings seem to be listed twice. This seems to be because the Commission changes some element of a meeting data after the meeting has first been listed, which causes LobbyFacts to register it as a new meeting. We are investigating further.
