Goals / Remit
PVCMed mission is to establish an effective platform to promote continuous PVC contribution to the improvement of healthcare. The aim is to provide a focal point for communications and to strengthen dialogue with all involved stakeholders about the use and value of PVC in healthcare applications and its role in ensuring quality and safe healthcare.

Communication activities
- In partnership with the Danish Environmental Protection Agency (DEPA) and the Danish Health and Medicines Authority (DHMA), the PVCMed Alliance invited stakeholders in Copenhagen on 27 March 2014 to participate in the publication of the results of a report about the substitution of classified phthalates in medical devices.
