Der 2011 gegründete Prepaid Verband Deutschland (PVD) e. V. ist eine Branchenvereinigung und Interessenvertretung der in Deutschland tätigen Prepaid-Industrie. Dazu gehören zum Beispiel Anbieter von Prepaid-Zahlungsmitteln (wie Banken und E-Geld-Institute), Processingunternehmen, Handelsunternehmen, die Gutscheinkarten herausgeben, Wallet-Anbieter, Kartenorganisationen, Anbieter von Loyalty-Systemen und Distributoren der Prepaid-Zahlungsprodukte im Handel.
Der Verband vertritt durch aktive Weiterentwicklung des Prepaid-Marktes die Interessen seiner Mitglieder, ist Ansprechpartner für Politik, Behörden sowie die Öffentlichkeit. Weiter veranstaltet der PVD den jährlich stattfindenden Prepaid Kongress in Berlin.Main EU files targeted
