Goals / Remit
ENNOH will be the organisation for the cooperation of the EU Hydrogen Transmission Network Operators (HTNOs). Its primary mission is to promote the development and proper functioning of the internal hydrogen market, support the cross-border trade of hydrogen, and ensure the optimal management, coordinated operation, and sound technical evolution of the European hydrogen transmission network.
ENNOH shall cooperate closely with ENTSO-e, ENTSOG, and the EU DSO Entity to identify synergies that foster system integration across energy carriers and facilitate overall energy system efficiency.
The Regulation (EU) 2024/1789 imposes several tasks and deliverables on ENNOH for 2025/2026 and beyond, which require intense preparatory work several months before the given deadline. On 23 January, the future HTNOs launched Pre-ENNOH to conduct the required preparatory work ahead of the ENNOH legal foundation.Main EU files targeted
The main target of Pre-ENNOH is to carry out preparatory works for the tasks allocated to ENNOH by Regulation (EU) 2024/1789. Pre-ENNOH may publish official positions on EU policy and regulatory developments affecting the hydrogen infrastructure sector but will not develop, in a proactive way, (lobbying) activities covered by this Register.

Meetings
Meetings

The list below covers meetings with Commissioners/Cabinet members/Directors-general (high-level) Commission meetings published December 2014 to December 2024, and the meetings of Commissioners/Cabinet members/Directors-general and officials holding "management functions" in the Commission published since 1 January 2025. Other lobby meetings with lower-level staff may well have taken place, but the Commission doesn't proactively publish information about these meetings. All information below comes from the Commission and not from the registrant.
1 July 2024: We have noted that some meetings are appearing in duplicate, ie. some meetings seem to be listed twice. This seems to be because the Commission changes some element of a meeting data after the meeting has first been listed, which causes LobbyFacts to register it as a new meeting. We are investigating further.
