    Goals / Remit

    Represent Portuguese liberal professionals nationally and internationally.
    Define the Portuguese Liberal Professionals Statute.
    Defend legal, economic, labor, intellectual and social rights in contracting, taxation, intellectual property, social protection, namely in health, maternity, employment, unemployment, underemployment and retirement.
    Develop and promote quality and adequate remuneration in the provision of services.
    Support the continuous training of liberal professionals.
    Monitor the mobility of self-employed professionals within and outside the European Economic Area.
    Support entrepreneurship, innovation and digital in the exercise of liberal professions.
    Foster adaptation to the challenges of digital, artificial intelligence, robotics, new ways of making work available.
    Disseminate and promote access to effective community funds and support.
    Promote use of arbitration mechanisms.
    Promote administrative simplification.

    Communication activities

    Our mission is to improve the promotion and defense of interests and needs
    of liberal professionals and freelancers in Portugal and the European Union, in order to achieve
    a high qualification of its services, an adequate level of appreciation
    of their professional activities, greater value creation and the strengthening of their
    importance in the societies in which we live.
    For this purposes, we are active in:
    E-newsletters; Articles; Institucional Lobbying; Social media networking ; Continuing Education; Seminars, Congress and Webinars; Observatory of Liberal Professions.
    Under the motto, Promotion and Defense of Liberal Professionals, ANPL aims to reflect and intervene in the socio-professional universe of those who hold proven qualifications of an intellectual nature, including professionals in artistic and cultural activities, promoting their responsibility, autonomy and independence in the best interest of consumers and the community at large. Regardless of whether they are individual promoters of their own job or exercise their professional activity under another type of contract, and in different sectors, public, private and social.
    ANPL thus assumes itself as a unique project, emanating from civil society, independent and under construction.
